Cooperative Network Assemblies

Collectively Proficient. Politically Strong.

A sample CNA (with all checks): A group of people form a CNA on their topic of interest. With 'open-doors' joining policies, members of the public may join that CNA by verifying their identities via jointly trusted parties.

Each member may author new material and, operating in a particular branch capacity, participate in performing reviewing tasks upon submitted material.

Each submission passes through review by randomly selected members in each of three branch capacities. In the same way, higher-level members may then review the work performed. When submitted material has passed all required reviews, the new material is incorporated into the published product.

A fully checked CNA includes total accountability and transparency. Every action performed by every member is bound to their identity, as publicly documented in CNA records. The full set of checks is documented in: CNA Design.

Upon examination of our civilization, I come to find that there is no such thing as any government or system that will be successful, so long as the following statement is true:

We are not aware of what we are doing

As the simplest of examples of this, it is to say that the general population is not aware of what its leadership is doing, and that so long as this is true, not even written promises can be expected to be upheld.

CNA design combines infrastructure for public trust with information, to create something like "information republics" (in the form of voluntary NGOs), or more advanced variations of "topical encyclopedias".  This is an exercise in political systems design, applying non-governmental infrastructure with the potential to earn the lion's share of the public trust.
